A Quality of Teaching Geared Towards The Future
The Alliance Française of St. Vincent and Grenadines proposes French courses for all ages and all levels. We offer general classes, CXC preparation classes and sessions on specified domains. Alliance Francaise also gives you the opportunity to register for the international French exams.
The educational team consists of French and Vincentian teachers who have received specific training in French as a foreign language. They are selected for their experience and / or their enthusiasm for the teaching the French language. They use different educational methods to awaken the interest of young people and adults.
The Framework- Educational team trained in France and/or in the Caribbean French departments (Martinique, Guadeloupe), and/or in Saint-Vincent- Access to the Resource Centre (Books, magazines, Internet, etc.) - Access to audio-visual resources (computers, CD players, DVD, TV, VCR, projector)- Modern and pedagogical text and exercise books- Pleasant premises, stimulating French environment
The Methods- Text and exercise books (Juniors: Le Mag; Adults: Connexions, and others)- Songs/Poems- Role Plays - Activities/Games
- Oral conversation
- Use of audio-visual Documents
The Type of Courses- General French for young and adults – language and culture- After school activities for primary school children (songs, poems, games, etc.)- Preparation for regional secondary school CXC exam (Form 5)- FOS – French for specified domains (Police, immigration, public servants...)- Preparation for international French exams TCF, DELF and DALF Junior and Adults- Training of trainees (Thematic educational French workshops)
The General Sessions- 3 terms of 30 hours classes during the school year- 2 classes of 1 hour 30 minutes per week
