Artistic and Cultural activities

Diverse and various Artistic and Cultural activities are organised at the Alliance Française of St. Vincent and the Grenadines (conferences, exhibitions, seminars, films, lectures, etc.), and/or in other venues (Music Festival, Reading Festival, Film Festival, Dance Festival, etc).
The partnership between the cultural performers and the French and Vincentian organizations is systematic.
Each year, we organize about ten to fifteen events (concerts, art exhibitions, conferences, workshops, schools activities, etc.)

We also have a French Library, an Internet Cafe and we show a movie in French with English subtitles a Thursday evening per month during which you can enjoy drinks and snacks from the Cafeteria.

10th: New term of French classes resume

Art Classes available for primary and secondary school students and Yoga class all levels on Saturdays.

12th: Commemoration of Haiti 2010 Eartquake with the showing ofthe locally produced movie  "Haiti: Myths, perception and reality"

FEBRUARY

21st-24th: Litterature Festival (Lire en fête)

MARCH

16th: End of the Term

20th: International Francophonie day

21st-25th: French Speaking Week (Semaine de la Francophonie)

24th-26th: Francophone movies (Kirikou et les Bêtes Sauvages, Hyènes)

APRIL

11th: New Term of French Classes Resume

JUNE

1st: Training for French teachers facilitated by Eloïse Louzon on the themes "Introducing new technologies in French teaching" and "Using the oral component in French classes"

7th: Movie showing "Kirikou et les bêtes sauvages" to  St Joseph's Convent secondary school students

16th: End of the Term

21st: Music Day (Fete de la Musique) and end of the year celebration

20th-24th: DELF exams junior and adult

May-June: Primary and secondary schools interventions by Marie Yaacoub and Eloïse Louzon

JULY

11th-24th: Linguistic exchange with students coming from Martinique and hosted by Vincentians. Organized in partnership with la F.O.L of Martinique, this exchange was a real success.

11th-21st: Summer classes (10-12 years old)

14th: Bastille Day (French National Day)

15th: Bastille Day cocktail at the French Verandah
