Divine Horsemen: The Living Gods of Haiti

Divine Horsemen: The Living Gods of Haiti is a black-and-white documentary film about dance and possession in Haitian vodou that was shot by experimental filmmaker Maya Deren between 1947 and 1954. The film reflected Deren's increasing personal engagement with vodou and its practitioners. While this ultimately resulted in Deren disregarding the guidelines of her academic fellowship, Deren was able to record scenes that probably would have been inaccessible to other filmmakers.

Glory at Sea

Glory at Sea is a resurrection love story about a man spat out of an underwater Hades, who pledges to go back and save his lover, still trapped beneath the ocean after they both were washed out to sea during the Hurricane Katrina. And deciding to join him is a group of other grieving survivors who also would like to reunite with their loved ones in a magical underwater afterlife.

This is England

t's the summer of 1983. 12 year old Shaun has just lost his father in the Falkland Islands War; he lives alone with his mother, and is a helpless victim of bullying inside and outside school. He lives in a world that is even bleaker than the surrounding environment, and it is not altogether surprising that he ends up making friends with an older group of social outcasts. But things really get dirty when Combo, a skinhead just out of prison, walks into the picture. Combo seems like a good guy at first, until he starts dragging Shaun into the world of racism and the National Front.
