About us

The Alliance Française of Dominica is an institution for French language classes and for cultural activities. As a non profit Dominican organisation, Alliance Française of Dominica has an executive committee of 10 members elected by AF members for a 3 years term. All the activities of Alliance Française are run by a director.
The Alliance disposes of its own building inaugurated in 1992, comprising of several class rooms, a library and a theatre with 150 seats. This organisation belongs to worldwide network of Alliances Françaises and gets support from the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, from the French Embassy in St-Lucia, as well as from local partners.
As a symbol of French-Dominican friendship, the Alliance Française of Dominica is a place of encounters and a forum of exchanges, welcoming the general public.
The Alliance Française of Dominica is also hosting the Honorary French Consulate in Dominica, and the director of Alliance Française is the honorary French consul in Dominica.
